Income protection

Players competing in an Under 18 competition

85% of their income with a cap of $500 per week

This can run for 52 weeks and there is a 14 day excess period

It’s the same deal for student assistance

Players competing in Under 19s and above competition

85% of their income with a cap of $300 per week

This can run for 52 weeks and there is a 28 day excess period

It’s the same deal for student assistance

Medical expenses

80% with a cap of $5000

$100 excess without private health insurance and no excess with private health insurance

• This benefit only covers expenses which ate NOT covered by Medicare

Travel and accommodation expenses to receive treatment

80% capped at $1000

⚠️  Accommodation capped at $150 a night
